Photographer's Note
this was taken from slea head on the coast of the dingle pennisula in county kerry. the islands on the horizon are the blasket islands which represent the most westerly point of ireland. the next landmass after this is america.

Hello Brian,
Another of your stunning seascapes!
The composition here is wonderfully bold, the huge rock mass on the right tapering off into the distance to the little rocky islands then off to the horizon and the more defined and larger distant islands, the nearest one shrouded in cloud. And, of course, the addition of two minute figures, one dressed in bright red, on the land at far right also add greatly to the composition as well as adding to the sense of depth and distance.
Gorgeous vibrant colours - including the emerald green which we associate with Ireland, lovely lighting, perfect exposure and exquisite sharpness.
Beautiful!
Kind Regards,
John.

Hello Brian ,
Our portuguese friends will say that the most westerly point in Europe is Cabo da Rocha , but this is for the continental Europe ;)
A splendid coastal view with great contyrasts and colors . I like especially the cloud covering the top of the nearest island .

Wonderful seascape Brian, under some beautiful light and with great details and textures on the rocks composing the cliffs.
As Denis says this is not the end of europe, continental or including islands, Cabo da Roca is the continental most western inland, if you include islands than A輟res Islands are further more to the west, but to be honnest this is peanuts being more to the west or to the east, what counts here is the beauty of the place you are showing.
Cheers.

Hello Brian - A landscape but a 'living landscape'. Does that sound silly? What I mean is, the moment is captured but I can see that activity will continue. The boat will continue to ferry passengers, the figure in the red coat will go home to drink tea, the low cloud hanging over the small island will dissipate and the tide will turn.
A super shot, the craggy features are wonderfully textural and I love the pockets of flowers growing in the crevices. Your vantage point allows for an image full of detail and interest. Lovely work and a stunning location. Warm regards Rosemary

Hi Brian
Coolly an elegant shot so creatively captured allowing us to enjoy this amazing coastalscape in delicious colors and enormous scale. The light is exquisite and it's the headland which provides beautiful strong diagonal lines drawing the eye into the horizon and the wonderful low clouds. It's very impressionistic as the rocks hold the eyes with excellent closeness and wide coverage to yield a more depth and perspective. How small we humans are in the face of nature! This is indeed a remarkable shot with superb effect, lending to an overall delightful photographic impact.
Congrats :))
Warm regards
Glint

Hi Brian,
wow, this is a breath taking view. A real master piece as well.
I like very much your selection of the wide foreground with the interesting flat rock formations. They seem to have a nice texture with patterns and colors. The panorama opening behind it is spectacular -it is one of my favourite views in Ireland and in spite of being so popular you have presented it in a very creative original way.
I like also the cloud hanging over the islet in the distance as if it was raining overe there only.
Excellent work!!!

Hello Brian
You took a beautiful point and composition.
The picture has a lots of highness and
depth and is nice open wide, rough and
calmness at the same time. Light management
is also great. Nice extra are: the clouds
above the hill (on the background, it looks
a little bit like a vulcano and that makes
the picture extra exciting) and the two
persons (gives nice the proportions in the
picture).
In Short: a beautiful picture.
Friendly regards,
Robert

Hi Brian.
Superb panoramic, this place of great beauty, the POV is superb, first showing us these cliffs, which offer varied shades of color, dotted with green and even some wild flower, the distant islands, we see on the horizon, given a good DOF to the composition.
Very good brightness and sharpness.
Well done.
Best regards.
Luis.

Good morning Brian,
You might have an argument with the Portugees, as they consider Cabo-de-Roca to be the most westerly end of Europe.
Yet, the view of the islands and the rock under where you stood, is most beautiful and well collected.
Enjoy a nice weekend,
Ike
