Lakes of Killarney, a photo from Kerry, South

Photographer's Note

I do not remember which one is in the photograph. I hesitate between the middle and low.
But I put on the middle lake. Can anyone help me in my selecting?

The Lakes of Killarney are Lough Leane (the lower lake), Muckross Lake (the middle lake), and the Upper Lake. These lakes are interlinked and together make up almost a quarter of the park's area. Despite being interlinked, each lake has a unique ecosystem. The lakes join at the Meeting of the Waters, a popular tourist area.[20] Sport angling on the lakes has been a popular pastime for generations, utilising the lakes' large populations of Brown Trout and Salmon.

All three lakes are very acid sensitive and therefore vulnerable to afforestation within their catchment areas.

wspaniale wykonane zdjecie. Piekna, zdumiewajaca imponujaca praca. Wspaniala spokojna atmosfera, chociaz niebo wskazuje na cos innego. An another beautiful and impressive landscape very well collected. The green color arise very well and give light to the composition. The impressive sky and too the color of the water in the lake give a particulary and interesting athmospehr to the shot.

Hello Monika and Pawe,

You show that the person after the camera is the
most importent part of a picture, the camera and
lens is only a tool.
A lots of people with a camera like a Canon 60D
or a Nikon D300 wil be jealous.

The picture is taken from a great point of view,
has a wonderful composition and light management
and the beautiful dark sky is a nice extra (it
fits very well with the landscape) like a cherry
on a delicious cake.....My compliments.

Hi Monika,
We often think that we need sun to have good pictures but this one proves this is wrong ! I love the atmosphere of this picture thanks to the dark and cloudy sky. Typically irish ! Nice green colours too.

Nice shot of a place I visited years ago. I like the piece of green between 2 blue-grey parts and the composition drawing a diagonal with the water-grass and the little island in background.

Hi Monika,

I stayed with this picture for a while. I could almost smell the fresh, humid air, and sense the anticipation. Despite its apparent calm, the image is very dynamic. Beautiful composition, great clarity, depth of field, and contrast between lush green and gray in this shot.
