Raving rooks, a photo from Limerick, South

The way these birds stand in a row in different positions made me imagine how they could be dancing. But in fact they didn't.
Edit: I thought these would be ravens, but Mariusz convinced me they are rooks.

Hello Kari,
Ravens are beautiful birds that I unfortunately have seen very seldom. They are known to be quite smart and can become very tame, but I suppose these were very wild. ;-) I like how they are lined up where the pattern of stones and small tufts of grass form a fine backdrop.

Hello Kari,
A good photo of these three ravens in a row, you are right that this could be meant as some kind of dance routine, even though the one at left doesn't really seem to be very willing to follow the moves of the other two.

Hi Kari,
I think this may be actually rather rook than raven. Rooks are more common and smaller than ravens. The rooks have kind of more white area, "beak extension". But I may be wrong.
Either way, nice capture, I thought it was the same bird but multiple photos merged.
