This photo is more or less level. What is not level is those sheep's footing. Just out of sight to the right of the sheep is a nearly vertical drop down to the sea. I'd be curious to know how frequently one of these sheep loses its balances and rolls down the hill and off the cliff into the wild Atlantic.

Most visitors to Ireland who are looking for spectacular sea cliffs visit the Cliffs of Moher near Shannon, in County Clare. They're incredible, to be sure. However, I much prefer Slieve League in County Donegal, tucked away in the far northwest of the country. The cliffs themselves are nearly three times as tall as Moher, and while they're not quite as shear, they're still exceptionally steep. The view from the top is breathtaking, but en route from the car park you also get some cool side attractions. Such as these sheep.
