IRELAND - SKY ROAD

Before leaving in weekend, I propose this shot of the splendid "Sky Road", at the fine bottom of the area of Connemara, close to Clifden ("An Clochan ", in gaelic).

This is a Re-post, I improved it to improve clearness of the image, as to add a border.
On the other hand, I did not succeed has to catch up with does the noise generated by the 400iso of the 300d... does somebody have a solution to reduce this noise?

Salut, Lo�c.
Comme tu as du le remarquer, on ne peut pas affirmer avoir visit� l'Irlande si l'on n'est pas pass� par Clifden et surtout, si l'on n'a pas arpent� pendant une petite journ馥 (ou demi journ馥, si on est press�) la Sky road, ses ces sauvages et d馗hiquet馥s et les collines et les tourbi鑽es qui la bordent. Les couleurs de ton image sont magnifiques et la topographie de ce 'bout du monde' est inoubliable. Dommage que le ciel (c'est un comble !) n'ai pas 騁� aussi remarquable qu'il l'est souvent dans ce coin.

A fine bird eyes view,love those clouds and the sea here,all elements are in a great composition,well managed and very well composed,lovely view indeed,

Hola Loic: A nice image, I dont know why but Iｴve always find this green Ireland shot kind of melancolic, maybe becuase of the tale "The dead" written by James Joyce and wonderfully put in images by John Huston. Perfect DOF, specially for makes me dream. Thanks.

J'adore surtout les pays Scandinaves mais j'avoue que l'Irlande me tente de plus en plus, et votre photo est en train de me convaincre qu'il va falloir y aller pour voir de nos propres yeux ce que vous nous montrez... :o)

Splendide panorama,la petite touche rouge apport� par la maison est un regal!le bruit me semble assez limit�,je vais la passer sous neatimage pour voir en essayant de pas grignotter les details..

A gorgeous landscape beautifully composed and pin sharp,I like the angle and the way the spit of land leads the eye through the shot.I would say though that a shot of such a gentle landscape does not benefit from such a large and dark frame

I don't have a problem with the noise Loic. I think noise (grain in the old days) in an intrinsic part of photography. In this picture I think iy add to the rugged landscape. Great colours and clarity.

Hi Loic, a very beautiful landscape shot. Colour and details are excellent. Iv been to Connemara twice and everytime the weather has been unforgiving with driving rain. Very well done.

J'aime trouve sympa de faire un re-post d'une ancienne image. Je l'ai fait r馗emment avec une ou deux de mes photos et j'ai 駱rouv� beaucoup de satisfaction en constatamt les progr鑚 que j'avais fait dans le traitement des images. Je pense qu'il en va de m麥e pour toi.
Ce paysage est splendide et tu l'a bien captur� encadrant avec ces petites maisons color馥s et la route qui nous emm鈩e jusqu'� la plage.

et bien, tu t'es am駘ior� en PP depuis ta version originale !
Ici le relief ressort beaucoup mieux, la lumi鑽e est mieux mise en valeur et la nettet� est aussi meilleure.

Indeed a good improvement this repost, sharper and deeper colored, for the noise I was thinking of a local NI for the sky and regaining the original blue by overlay, using a soft bordered erasing tool to maintain a gradiant flow or simply use the original sky with this edition using the erase tool and opacity overlay to regain the gradiant misty atmospere in the sky of the original.

Tr鑚 beau point de vue Loic, il ne manque que le bruit de la plage, je m'imagine tr鑚 bien relaxant sur une chaise et admirant ce magnifique paysage, bravo.

Superbe photo qui rend parfaitement la beaut� de ce coin magnifique. Tu as eu la chance d'avoir un bel 馗lairage et l'art de composer une image parfaite, avec la diagonale form馥 par la route et qui continue par le d馗oupage de la cote. Les petites maisons avec leurs peintures multicolores viennent bien souligner le point de d駱art.
Bravo pour ce beau clich�.

C'est une photo superbe, et tellement typique du connemara. Ce qui me plait dans la vue, c'est le chapelet d'iles, avec la toute premi鑽e qui est encore rattach馥 � la terre ferme. on imagine ce qu'il en sera dans quelques centaines d'ann馥s. Les petites maisons donnent l'馗helle et de la couleur.

je ne sais pas comment j'ai rate celci,
cest vraiment une photo epic, cest superbe le contrast des maisons rouges avec cette verdeur intense,
tu as pris cette photo depuis une montagne?
