Ciao Valter,
The resting man, the stone walls, and the B/W all create a feeling of nostalgia in this photo. I like the narrow lane, and the way the walls intersect from your chosen POV. The lamp hanging at the top is also a lovely detail. Right now my mother has a large kidney stone, and I wish she had some of the water from this town!!

Ciao Valter
i tuoi b&w sono puntuali e, soprattutto, belli.
Non ho certo una statistica, ma credo che tu sia il pi prolifico si TE e sempre con merito.
Come questa foto, sembra quasi impossibile poterla pensare a colori.
Saluti

Ciao Valter. The place and the aged person both have a lot of character. The sharp details are excellent and so is the exposure.Impressive gradations of grey. I like the gentle curve of the little street and the light around the bend. Ciao. Klaudio.

My friend, just love this one!
It has this spacial feeling(or better say mood),that makes the scene so captivating.Just the lonely, old woman and her thoughts.Very evocative!
And also the scenery for this portrait couldnエt be more picturesque-the narrow street with its old walls(by the way you were able to bring out all the textures of it!)is very atmospheric.
Well done Valter!
Have a nice day

Hello Valter,
A very fine photo where the conversion to B&W seems to have been a natural decision. Colour would have been of little importance here. The old woman resting her feet must have been the main reason for taking this picture and she is a real gem in this context. She seems so much to be a part of this old village. You have handled the light very well, which can be seen on the walls which cover the entire greyscale from very light to very dark but always correctly exposed.
Kind regards,
Geert

Hi Valter
What an incredible transformation, and I like it a lot....the light, textures. The sort of composition that invites the eye to wander in and explore upwards. Very well exposed: an admirable capture of the brighter area up the slope and like the idea of adding the soul figure it's just in the right place to make it work. Superb shot and well treated in mono. Real sense of feel. Congrats

Looiking at this could be looking at a scene from a hundred years ago Valter with only the lamp and plumbing bringing the shot to a more recent time. B&W works well here giving the shot character and emphasising the textures. Nicely seen and executed. Warm regards Rosemary

Ciao Valter,

Complimentoni!
Un abbraccio
