Ciao Valter. You have captured the elusive feel of centuries gone past in this marvelous B&W rendition. The aged door, cobbled paths and weathered arches all create a timeless feel of a village that has escaped the modern rush. great work. The light is a work of art. Ciao. Klaudio.

Hello Valter,
amazing scene in B&W my friend!Where to start-so many different aspects of it appeals to me here.Like for example the way you operates with light and shades to create so unique, kind of mysterious mood(has something from film noir feel when I look at it)
And of course the scene itself with this old architecture, ubiquitous stones and few poeple in the shot provide magnificent scenery for your composition.
I think I donエt have to mention about your monochrome treatment, because itエs as always superb!
Beautiful,moody composition!
Wish You a nice sunday

Hi Valter
What a depth of view and the never ending perspective here, you've chosen the exposure for a difficult subject extremely well retaining much detail in shadow areas drawing the eyes in all the way. Thanks also for proving the door and visitors along the way for one痴 eye to rest - I feel you have captured this medieval historic sight so superbly, full of character. Well done, Congrats
Best regards

Ciao Valter

Delphine

Hello Valter,
I love this contrasty picture showing lovely detail on the old stonework and door. The darker areas give mood and a timeless look. This is an excellent subject for b/w and you have managed the light conditions superbly.
Kind Regards, Ann
