Photographer's Note
Monegrosso d' Asti,
A small town on the road between Asti and Nizza Monferrato. Perhaps nothing special now, but the well preserved castle can be seen as you whizz along the main road. The side you see vanished, leaving a 'U' shape of the main buildings. A wall has bridge the tow wings and this ornate doorway inserted.
A pleasant place that most people will never notice.

Hi Peter!
This is a good picture for you! Likely due to the sharpness of the scan is not perfect, but the composition and the building. The color of the entire production. Congratulations. Csaba

I like how you framed this Castle entrance and the sepia toning too. It reminds me of old good postcards and of places I've visited in my early youth.
It's curious how you discovered this not so known places off-roads.

Hi Peter,
Your photo has good vertical framing of the castle. The quality of the photo is not perfect but sometime is difficult to get good image from the old photo. I was good idea to choose the sepia for an image.
Best regards,

Hi Peter, a good picture that exalts the imposing appearance of this castle. Interesting the sepia tonality that you have used, gives an ancient tone to the shot. ciao
