Photographer's Note
The Gardetta Plateau sits in the Cottian Alps, in the southwestern portion of Piedmont region, and can be reached from the Maira, Grana, or Stura valleys. Breathtaking environment and geological marvel for those willing to explore fossils sites and dinosaur footprints. Even fossil seafloor ripples raised to about 2400 m (7800 ft) of elevation by the tectonic formation of the Alps range.
Towering Rocca La Meja, seen in the background, offers great climbing opportunities on dolomitic rock.

Hi Ant,
Well taken and composed your photo, great landscape with these mountains, good perspective with the view of this trail, photogenic detail and focal point with the biker, a pleasant trip I imagine, tfs.
