some days ago i got the chance to have a short journey to some hotspots at Tuscany..

About the picture:

here we start our short journey, today with a little capture about the village of Volterra, here a look over some italian roof tops towards the walls of the village..

a nice evening to all friends and guests..

Wenn man durch TE die Welt erlernen will, was will man noch erwarten ? Hier ist die Szene eigenartig und mit vielen unbekannten Einzeheiten besetzt. Gutes Grafik.

Hello Bernd,

Voterra, a superb village. I posted too a shot with this POV, I knomw dus this place. Excellent faming and the red roofs give a very graphic image. The tree in the FG give depht to the composition.

Hallo Bernd. Auch Du kommst in der Welt umher, wie Dein heutiges Photo zeigt. Der Blick von oben ist recht interessant. Scheinbar ist die Toskana ein Geheimtip f�r alle Deutschen. Auch Freunde von mir sind gerade dort unterwegs. Das Photo gef舁lt mir sehr gut, weil hier die Vergangenheit der groﾟartigen italienischen St臈te wieder auferlebt. Gruﾟ, Wolfgang.

Very short trips to Tuscany seem popular with Germans. Volterra is one of my favourite Tuscan towns where we spent a week staying in a hilltop village opposite (There's a night time photo in my Siena folder). This shot is a good roof top one - showing lots of good textures.

Hi Bernd,
i have been once in Volterra i like it very much his old buildings and his ups and downs road.
Good capture among the trees with the red roof in foreground and the church on the horizon.

Hi Bernd,
this is an interesting composition (though I wish the tops of the buildings were not hidden by the tree branches!):) I guess you did not have a chance to come closer... unless you are a bird :))
A lovely view... and if it wasn't for the satellite antennas... we might think we have been transferred back to the Past!
