What a glorious jumble of buildings, Maurizio! Your composition is effective, as they all serve to lead the eye right up to the tower atop the hill Really nice lighting and color, and the shadows that divide the homes below add nice depth and texture to the shot.

Piazza Armenina e' davvero splendida e la tua composizione spiega il suo carattere con stupenda nitidezza e chiarezza e con assoluta efficacita'. La ricchissima gamma di prospettive, di angoli, di dettagli e di spazi insieme alla magnifica illuminazione che accentua il fascino, la profondita' e la prospettiva, rendono l' immagine vivace ed incantevole. Si potrebbe perdere volentieri per ore nei labirinti continuamente scoperti nella foto. Il cielo fa uno sfondo meraviglioso per la grande vista ed i suoi colori. Complimenti e grazie!

what a cracking scene looking across the town towards the dome at the top of the picture; my eye is drawn towards it by your excellent composition. brilliant vibrant colours in the light. the sky beyond is also a superb element to the success of this picture.

A lovely composition from this charming city. It strikes me how the houses have similarities but at the same time are different. The dome at the top of the hill is really the ising of the cake. Very nice work:) TFS. Have a nice WE.

we crossed this town on the way to the magnificent mosaic display on Villa-Romana, but never had time to see the place at all.

You have achieved amazing clarity on this shot, which has such a depth and such a variety of details.
The pov uses the buildings, which rise like so many tiny steps, leading to the the pinnacled summit.
A fine composition of thirds, with the sky completing a most attractive shot.

I can imagine that this is a wonderful place to explore!

It is hard to imagine that how these high density compact dwelling were constructed this way and i dont think we need to have a car here. The small roads must be like mass of endless jigsaw puzzles. A typical Med scene and a fascinating old architecture so well composed by placing the green dome at the third and enough to keep eyes busy wondering about. And you are blesssed by wonderful sky there and inccidentally lifts the contrast to greater height against dominating earth tones. This is a remarkable shot, Congrats. TFS.

What a fascinating place, and what a superb image to capture it. The town looks as if it has been built with no logical plan, until you follow the lines of the buildings and realise they all lead up to the dome at the top of the hill. Good cloud formations make a dramatic backdrop
