Ciao Valter.

Complimenti e grazie!
Tanti saluti e buona giornata,
Ourania

Ciao Valter ,
This theme is interesting . When we are young tourists , we find that this old villages sith stoned stairs are very picturesque . But when the inhabitants get old , it become harder and harder to climb the steps ...

Ciao Valter,
I guess he's only interested to arrive home. For me, the satisfaction will be the view from the top. Nice shot from that old place, enjoy a fine day.

Hello Valter,
I would imagine that these steep steps help to keep this old man fit if he has to climb them every day. The steps, and the walls surrounding them, are quite impressive on their own, but it's the inclusion of the old man that really makes us see how steep this is and to consider the effeort it takes to climb the steps.
Kind regards,
Gert

Ciao Valter
Saluti
Carlo

Hello Valter,
this old man climbing with effort the steps makes it takes on a new, more evocative character. Also the play of light&shade and the way you coped with it makes the scene so lovely and atmospheric.
Well composed and timed shot! What I like more about your composition are colors and tonal range you achieved(maybe even enhanced by the light&shades here).
Wish You a nice weekend

Hello Valter - Not only is the water good for various ailments but I think the steep steps keep the body in good shape too! A lovely upward view with well managed light. Warm regards Rosemary

Hi Valter
I applaud this shot, it may not be the most action filled but it's the one that I believe best tells the story of the day, a great street scene here and bags of atmosphere. Excellent capture nice angle of view as the exhausted old man makes a superb composition and plenty of colour and textures going on in the surrounding Great timing for the sheer determination and as it stands I really love it, it tells it's own story and I just hope his walking stick won't fail him too. You have definitely captured an interesting moment, the essence in the photograph. A simple but strong composition that emphasizes a dramatic situation, an emotive study of the human condition. You just seem to have that very keen eye for a reportage scene like this. Excellent work. Congrats
Best regards
