Photographer's Note

The Rialto Bridge is one of the four bridges spanning the Grand Canal in Venice, Italy. It is the oldest bridge across the canal.. There was a restoration on the bridge when I was there, so I couldn't take the whole magnificient view of the bridge..

Hi Selnur,i sees hudreds of pics from Venice on TE, and isn't easy to think at something new or a different perspective after many post from there. Your is a amazing solution,the crossed bridges in different lights and levels are fantastic,and the view in background in the sun is magic. Great too the dark silhouette of the gondola in backlight. Hello Selnur, an excellent composition with the arch of the famous bridge making the diagonal line across the frame.
Your depth of field is so good, with the sculpture on the bridge in perfect sharpness, as is the view of the canal and buildings.
The gondola/ gondolier is the 'icing on the cake'.

Hello Selnur ,
The bridge was in restoration , too when I was there in autumn 2015 . Venice is a so photogenic city . You have taken a very original picture here , with a glimpse through the bridge arch to the colorful buildings in the Bg , fine details of the sculpture in the Fg , and the boats in the shade .

Hello Selnur,
This is a very good and quite original composition from one of the most photographed places in the world. It's an excellently chosen angle under the double arches of the bridge, with a great view in the background of the colourful houses and an even better shadow of a gondolier. I like the two curves framing the central view, one light and one dark. The female figure on the side of the bridge is perfectly included and provides a beautiful foreground.

Interesting capture of the architectural details of the bridge, with an interesting diagonal that makes the image very attractive! And the view of the houses in the background is also great, with very good light, colors and sharpness! Wonderful job!

Great composition! Venice is photographed so often, but you found a fresh and creative view to share with us. I like the play of light and shadow, and the colors of the buildings peaking out from under the arch of the bridge. The silhouette of the gondolier is a great detail, too.
