San Gimignano � una citt� collinare della Toscana situata a sud-ovest di Firenze. Circondata da mura del XIII secolo, il fulcro del suo centro storico � piazza della Cisterna, una piazza triangolare fiancheggiata da case medievali. Nella skyline di torri medievali spicca la Torre Grossa in pietra. Il Duomo di San Gimignano � una chiesa del XII secolo in cui � possibile ammirare gli affreschi del Ghirlandaio nella Cappella di Santa Fina.

A great view of the city with its many tall towers. The colours and clarity are both excellent and I very much like how you included the rolling hills in the foreground as well.

Hello Maurizio,

Who doesn't love Siena!
WE usually see details from within the city so this is a very pleasant change, being able to see the tall towers standing proud of the multitude of buildings.
The colours are good in this fine composition.

A nice view of one of the most unique Italian towns seen from a very good position. The composition is well structured, with the hedge and bushes providing an excellent foreground. The colours and light are excellent.

Bonjour Maurizio,

Je trouve cette petite ville tellement belle que j'y suis retourn� deux fois. Magnifique point de vue � travers la campagne environnante. Les belles tours typiques de l'endroit se tiennent encore bien droit.

I think that from your chosen point of view you've been able to include the maximum number of towers.
At the same time we get a good view of the gardens and orchards that surround the town.

Hello Mauricio, this is a lovely view of San Gimignano. You set the scene beautifully as we look across the vines and olive groves towards the town.
This is a lovely reminder for me of a visit we made a few years ago, I loved this place.

Hello Maurizio, I am so glad to see you back on TE. But is it really Siena? I am sure it is San Gimignano, with all these towers. Excellent big picture, we can see many details. And the grapes in the foregraound look so tasty.
You can add the note in the edit mode. It happens quite often that the note disappears. Better is to save earlier.
