Photographer's Note
No2 in my early morning walk from our appartment to the Basilica and back.
Here a view on the Basilica dei Santi Maria e Donato. The church is one of the oldest in the Venetian lagoon. It was originally built in the 7th century and is known to have been rebuilt in the 9th century and in 1040 AD, although it is possible that there have been more rebuildings in later times.

Hallo Gerrit,

Hallo Gerrit, the golden morning light is shining on that gorgeous church dating from the 7th century. The quay was almost empty at this time of the day. Fine colors, good image quality, instructive photo note, regards.

Hi dear Gerrit
Another tasty landscape in the best framework and composition. Strong morning sun light makes so tasty and dramatic assit. The main subject receives so nicespot light as such.
All the best and have a good day! Takero

Dag Gerrit,
Heerlijk foto werk, bedankt.
Groeten uit Vlaanderen,

Hallo Gerrit,
Vele groeten, Paul

Hello Gerrit, your series of pictures from Murano are very attractive. The early morning light has given the buildings a beautiful glow, bringing out the colours of the bricks etc.,
I have never managed to visit Murano, and your shots show me what I have missed!
This Basilica is amazingly old; fantastic that it has survived.
Kind regards, Jean.
