Enjoy the view, a photo from Terni, Umbria

Photographer's Note

Before entering the village of Narni, I want to dedicate a few posts to its beautiful fortress overlooking the valley. An enchanting and isolated place where there are very few tourists even in August. I start from the terrace where you can enjoy a beautiful view over the valley (see WS), and the girls seem to like it.

Prima di addentrarmi nel borgo di Narni, voglio dedicare qualche post alla sua bellissima rocca che domina la vallata. Un luogo incantevole ed isolato in cui si trovano pochissimi turisti anche ad Agosto. Inizio dalla terrazza su cui si gode una bellissima vista sulla vallata (vedi WS), e le ragazze sembrano apprezzare.

We actually get a better view of the scenery in the WS, but the two nice young ladies automatically make this a more attractive composition. The two photos complement each other well, and they are both very well taken.

Ciao caro Luciano,

The view from the fortress is definitely well worth seeing but it looks much more interesting, sharing the view with the two young ladies!
The sharp f/g, against the blurred b/g is a fine piece of photography.

Hello Luciano,
The landscape picture in the WS is excellently clear and sharp and shows its green and yellow brown tones very well.
On this side of the river we get a good view of the vineyards and other cultivated lands while the other side emphasizes the patchwork of fields and forests.
Hopefully the photo of both ladies will be as good as yours in the WS.

A curious composition with this portrait, with the tourists on their backs while they take a photo of the wide panorama from the viewpoint, in your case the view is secondary and the interest is the ladies.
Colorful, sharpness and luminosity are managed effectively.

I like the wide view in the WS photo, but this main shot is also interesting. It feels like we are also standing behind these women, watching them take their own photos. Nice focus on the foreground, too.
