Photographer's Note
this is in an awesome place in italy called the Cinque Terra. It is a beautiful string of villiages totally isolated by a large mountain range behind it. They are very much like they were a hundred years ago.
This is another selection from my paths series
ps. i posted a workshop in responce to the critique from animeshray. Thanks

Nice texture, definately a timeless looking place. I like that you have all ranges of black and white-deep black to white. Thanks for sharing!

Good shot Brady! The lines of the pipe and the curving path sure makes this picture deeper and attractive! The B&W is right in place with moody feeling and great graphical enhancement!

Excellent composition, very good contrast. I have two minor points. I would really like to have a figure (man/woman/dog or something living) in the distance, under the arch. Second, I wish you moved just a bit to the right to include the bicycle fully.

I like the proposed crop too.. I think that the sharpening filter may be to strong... then again, at work I have a crappy monitor... love the composition, it creates expectations about going around the corner. Well done.
Cheers,
Enrique
