Photographer's Note
I took this shot in Poggio a Caiano a vary nice village close to Florence.
Over the yellow wall on the left theres a beautiful medicean Villa , that day there was a marriage and I was lucky to see the brides car.
I think this shot could be an aged one , so in the workshop I tried to convert it in sepia tone, hope you like it.

Good composition, Alessandra. I like the vintage car and the way you have taken the shot along the wall. Good colours. Well framed.
While the sepia version works well with the age of the car, I prefer having the colourful wall more.

I like his shot, not only for the Citron (one off my favorites car) but for the old"atmosphere" well done.

It's funny, last winter when I was in Italy (Ferrera) my sister wanted me to take I picture of an old car in a Street like this, but the time that I took my camera, the car was already gone. Very nice picture.

A beautiful shot, Alessanda. Almost looks like a scene from an old movie, with the beautiful houses and the nice old car. Those lanterns on the wrought-iron holders are a beautiful detail as well. Your shooting angle was well chosen, standing by the yellow wall on the left. So, to sum it up - a very nice shot! ;-)

This is fantastic Alessandra, the pure white sky (so often avoided) is wonderful in this context, giving a very graphic feel to the image.
The colour of the sign on the lamppost (I think it's a sign) mirroring the colour of the walls is a great touch and the car finishes of the shot.

Hi Alessandra, I looked at this shot and was sure that i had written a critique already, but looks like i hadn't. Anyway i like your composition a lot, the old fashioned lamp posts and car give it a olden day feel. I also think you did a good job with the colours the saturation is well suited for this shot.

I sure love this picture as well, what a place, how lovely and harmonious. I like the old car parked there as if time did not pass.

another beautiful photo from you... it has an old movie atmosphere, that car goes VERY well in that village! and the yellow ochre wall adds a special tone... well seen!! i like the sepia effect too, but theres no need to go sepia, because it has very few nicely contrasted colors as it is, ochre, black, white, greys, and light sepia...

Nice composition. I like the daily life feeling in it because all that's seen (except the antenas) is from another era so this photo could have been taken 50 years ago.
Still, it's hard to me to understand how this photo is balanced...but it is and that's what matter!

like what most people have already written
" a very nice photograph" yeah i can picturise the shot with a sepia tone , will give it that old look. infact in my mind even a black and white shot looks really nice. and now my imagination is starting to run a lil wild and im imagining the same shot in black and white, with the right door open , there is a crowd behind the car and on the side of it cheering on, as the bride is lowering her head to step into the car. can see her white wedding gown glow amongst the black.
youre photograph really has a story to it.
very nice:)

Ciao Ale. This one seems from another time. A very nice glance on this street, but also on those old days, even if you say you were lucky with this car. Sepia WS works fine also but I prefer this well saturated version with this white sky, a must here! Very well seen and superbly composed. Proportions are great. Congratulations Ale! points domani ;-)

Why didn't I see this one ?
Sometimes there are pictures on TE (and TL) you never find, strange....
No disturbing details, indeed an "old" picture with the sepia, an old car too, I like this scene...
