Nice shot! I really like the reflections you've captured under the bridge, and contrast in colour between the green water, bluish bridge, and the red brick behind. I have a couple of thoughts though, firstly I'd try a tighter crop - the people at the top are not really important to the shot, so try getting rid of them! I also feel that the image could be sharpened a little more without losing anything. If you're curious to see what I have in mind please can you enable Workshop for this picture? Anyway, good capture - welcome to TrekEarth :-)

Very nice picture with amazing colours and fine details. I could be agree with Adrian about the people, but if you crop them you would also crop a part of the bridge and this is not good. Welcome in TE, Sylvie.

C'est tout simplement magnfique, et le mur de briques accentue le contraste des couleurs.

I really like the bright sunshine bouncing off the water from below the bridge.
Great angle you got- very well captured.
Must have been cold from the looks of the two women in the back ground in winter jackets.

Je d馗ouvre cette vue et je suis enchant�.
Quelle belle composition et quel jeu des couleurs, c'est superbe! On peut aussi imaginer l'id馥 qu'un peintre pourrait retenir pour un tableau abstrait..
Ce qui me g鈩e c'est le coin haut � gauche et les personnages.
J'ai tent� un WS pour les supprimer et rendre le clich� intemporel! J'esp鑽e qu'il te plaira..

This is an excellent shot, Sylvie. The water in the canal has a magical feel to it, but I especially like the 'rippled' lighting under the bridge and the red bricks that we can see through the bridge. Very well seen and captured.

la couleur laiteuse de l'eau et le reflet qu'elle renvoie dans l'arche est du plus bel effet. le triangle lumineux de briques au milieu et le cadrage des lignes du pont en font une composition tr駸 agr饌ble. il faut vraiment que j'aille � venise...

J'ai visit� votre galerie et je trouve que vos points de vues sont originaux avec pour toutes vos images des cadrages toujours soign駸.
Par contre celle ci est terrible en couleur et attire vraiment le regard.
Moi qui ne connais pas Venise la couleur de l'eau est telle quelle ou bien un filtre a 騁� ajout�.
Bravo en tout cas Sylvie un plaisir que de regarder cette prise.

Hi Sylvie - thought I'd look at your "oldest" posting, and wow what a find. Excellent use of the arch to span a diagonal through your compo, and the reflective effects and play of light on the underside of the bridge are wonderfully rendered here. The triangle of red brick wall in the back is a detail that balances the overall color setting so very well, and the two pedestrians in the upper left corner are nice as well. Great one.

alors on fait la gr钁e ?
oblig� d'aller fouiller les fonds de tiroir, et j'y ai trouv� cette merveille.
j'adore toutes ces couleurs (bleu, jaune, rouges, vert laiteux)et cette lumi鑽e qui se r馭l馗hit sur la pierre.
angle de prise de vue efficace avec ces 2 pi騁ons qui donnent l'馗ehlle.

OK, first you scared me with your Chinese Vertigo post, but now this one evens it out :)
