The Cathedral of Vilnius (Lithuanian: Vilniaus 革. Stanislovo ir 革. Vladislovo arkikatedra bazilika, Polish: Bazylika archikatedralna św. Stanisława Biskupa i św. Władysława) is the main Roman Catholic Cathedral of Lithuania. It is situated in Vilnius Old Town, just off of Cathedral Square. Dedicated to Saints Stanislaus and Ladislaus, the church is the heart of Catholic spiritual life in Lithuania.

The Cathedral and the belfry were thoroughly renovated from 2006 to 2008. The facades were covered with fresh multicolor paintwork, greatly enhancing the external appearance of the buildings. /wiki/

Hi Piotr,

The space in front of the cathedral is giving depth to the scene. The point of view is showing a double perspective of the architecture of the Vilius cathedral. It is clear and sharp. Have a nice day.

Interesantan i lep pogled, opasan terenutak, dobar tekst ...
Dobar rad, lepo pokazan trg i arhitektura, dobar kontrast i perspektiva, lepe boje, lepo uhvacen trenutak sa oblacima koji dolaze i donose nevreme. Lep trenutak sa posetiocima na trgu.

Rather surprising church architecture. The Baltic states are unknown territory for me. This is an inviting picture, though. I like that couple at bottom left, especially the man who seems to really admire the architecture.

One very impressive cathedral with its imposing belfry. Well chosen point of view encompassing both the buildings and the large animated square surrounding them. Very agreeable lights and natural colours and first class clarity.

Hello Piotr,
I guess this is the most known sight of Vilnius. Parts of it you've already presented us before. So here we get the complete picture.
The large square impresses. Also when I was there, there was a crowd of people.
On the left we notice a man with his hands on his hips as if he's perplexed by what he sees.
A beautiful sky on the background and ranging from blue to dark threatening clouds.

You used the light cleverly and found a perfect angle to capture this magnificent view of the cathedral and the square. The people provide life and colours but primarily this is to me a photo of well handled light and shady areas and attractive clouds.

the fa軋de of the cathedral remind me the buenos aires cathedral. anyway the tower is huge and looks a different monument. very nice this wide square and the people walking in the area. perfect compo. TFS.
