The impressive and very colourful skylight of the Museum of Macedonian Struggle in Skopje, made of stained glass. Another view here:

Unlike the tourist on trip advisor, I did not have to wait 1 hour for an English speaking guide and tour. Just 5 minutes. They also turned lights on and off between rooms / exhibits, so a self guided tour was not an option.

Beautiful view of the colourful skylight. I like the combination of green and blue most of all. The lighting and exposure were superb as well.

Chris, the museum ceiling is decorated with that splendid stained glass. It includes a rosace in its middle. Excellent report from the visit. Vivid colors, perfect sharpness, regards.

Hello Chris,
I didn't see this museum, so I missed this impressive skylight with its bright colours. I found Skopje generally a rather unexciting city, so I wasn't very keen on exploring every part of it. It was obviously impossible, or very difficult, to capture all of this in one shot, but you managed a good exposure in what I imagine was a fairly dark room.

Hello Chris,

We often see stained glass windows from churches, but this is something quite different! It makes an eye-catching ceiling, with the beautiful patterns and mixture of strong colours.

I could be wrong, but I think most people would try to photograph this in the middle of the frame, me included. But placing the centre of if at the 1/3 spot to the right is quite effective too, I like this one a lot. Excellent details and colors. cheers
