Photographer's Note
A fountain statue I spotted on a walk around Prilep late in the evening. I was intrigued by the tile design, the teddy bear, the possible tragic death of a young local musician 1981-2007 resembling Prince, the angel & the upper cherries. Despite a through search, this is the only other image I could find, also untitled, and dated August 2021. I cannot read the Serbian text all that well. A google translate of 'becakam site' 'toweski rie' gave the same words in English. Taken in or near Alexandria Square.

Hello Chris,
There is a sudden surge in photos from this not very big Macedonian city. Whoever this monument was dedicated to, he must have been a great local star, maybe more important to the young generation than even Alexander the great. It's a curious photo.
Regards,
Gert

Hello Chris,
Perhaps the text is less important here.
This mosaic plate is expertly composed
Also nicely finished.
Excellent sharp and clear photographed with nice real colours.
Very well done, TFS.

Hello Chris, the musician must have been quite special to merit this monument to him.
It is a striking piece of mosaic; a teddy bear and an angel aren't often seen on the same artwork.
Good sharp shot.
Kind regards,Jean.

Hi Chris,in fact it is really difficult to interpret the reason and to whom this fountain is dedicated, you discovered the young dead musician but the rest is a mix of different things and figures, even a little kitchy. Curious yet interesting capture in the usual super quality. Have a nice evening and thanks,Luciano

Hello Chris,
I'm not sure if I've seen this memorial monument. In any case I have no picture of it.
But you can find it on Google Maps.
Look for Alexandria Square, Prilep and then look at the photos.
It's the fifth photo. Scrolling down you find another picture, but a less good.
By searching on street view you can also find it but it has changed a bit compared to your photo. See:

I can't tell you anything else about it. Sorry.
Best regards, Paul

Hello Chris,
A mosaic work that you managed to show in fine details and sharpness upon each of the small pieces.
I see flah-lights directed at the statue, so must be a night great scene as well.
Good afternoon,
Ike

Hello Chris.
Interesting monument. I was intrigued by what it is about. If it is North Macedonia, so it should be Macedonian, and not Serbian. It is written: ве сахам сите and it means (from Google translate) I love you all. it makes sense. Funny, when I wrote весахам сите, I got I hung them all. The space makes a big difference :). See:

Todor "To啼" Proeski (Macedonian: Тодор "Тоше" Проески, 25 January 1981 16 October 2007) was a Macedonian multi-genre singer and songwriter. Considered a top act of the local Macedonian and Balkan music scene, Proeski's music was popular across multitude of countries of Southeast Europe. He was dubbed the "Elvis Presley of the Balkans" by BBC News. He died in a car crash on the Zagreb豊ipovac A3 highway, near Nova Gradi嗅a in Croatia, on the morning of 16 October 2007, aged 26.

Hi Chris. I am sending you a link so that you can hear Toshe sing a very popular Macedonian song and one of my favourites. He reached millions in the Balkans with his emotive voice. The term you were looking for was Cyrillic and not Serbian.
