Photographer's Note
Booked a flight to Valletta because it was cheap. Little did I know, it sure was one surprising and definitely worth the trip.
Who would've ever thought that I'd be stepping and seeing this certain scene I only used to see here in TE, (thanks to the members who posted shots in Valletta). It was a definitely a dream come true.
Upon arriving from an early flight, I didn't hesitate to go to Valletta. My feet brought me to wander the streets and alleys of valletta for several hours. I didn't feel fatigue nor hunger. The city was so full of surprises and so many phootgraphic elements to capture not to mention this kind of scnery which is predominantly seen in every street.
One thing that sure caught my attention was the Vallettian windows which is very distinct (i'll post a feature soon) and the hilly streets of Valletta.

Hello Matt,
One of those wonderful steep streets in La Valletta with a jungle of beautiful balconies at both sides.
I like your composition very much with the inclusion of the cars at the bottom of the picture. Mostly we try to avoid cars on pictures but here they're really important for the attractive composition.
Best regards, Paul

Hi Matt
This is certainly an eye catcher. The classic perspective with the disappearing point has gone hay wire. Really cool shot with a strong effect. The 2 lines of cars like pearls on a string contributes a lot to the effect. The architecture is nice too with all the bay windows.

Hello Matt,
This is a great POV. The slope of this street resembles a roller coaster ride! It's nice to have a couple of cars coming towards us, and I like all of the typical balconies lining the street. Very nice!

Well fancy seeing you here Matt! I see you travelling and performing the world over so it's great to see that you have some time to visit us on TE. This is a fabulous shot of Valletta. You make such good use of the parked cars, that's clever. Most of us would attempt to avoid them and you use them as a feature. Top shot!
Warm regards

Hello Matt,
Great view down the road. There is a lot to discover on both sides of the photo, first of course the double row of cars, but the fa軋des of the houses are also full of details.

Hi Matt
What an appropriate title we have portraying the city scape in an almost compressed perspective effect! The imposing cars steal the show from this shooting point and well set off by the flanking buildings in between. Clarity is so pleasant bundled by glorious colour tones and contrast.
Pleasure to view, Congrats
PS; Thanks to your comments on last upload, normally I never ask for permission when taking portrait of street people coz i believe spontaneous shot renders true emotion and 'feel; with exception of a shot I made in India: http://www.trekearth.com/gallery/Asia/India/West/Rajasthan//photo1336132.htm
Best wishes

Hi Matt,
I fully agree with you. Malta is a superb destination and Valletta really unique city. Steep streets make strong perspectives, and you selected your PoV perfectly.

Hi Matt,
I love the composition. Fantastic symmetry! Very well spotted. At the same time it originally presents the characteristic feature of Valletta streets: steep hills and the balconies! You have squeezed so many of them here with the tele lens. Very attractive work, I like it!

Hello Matt,
It has been a year since you posted this photo, and I don't see any more from entries from you. I hope you will end your sabbatical and return. Valetta, the city on the mighty rock of Malta has many hills, and here with a long lens, you appear to have compressed "a dip" in one of the undulating hills and valleys. I see that it is also a one-way street, as it would not allow for sizeable cars to pass each other.
Warm regards,
Bulent
