Second picture of a new serie - Winter on the Veluwe.

We have set our caravan on a lovely nature campground and we are planning to go there twice a month till April 18th. So I hope to make a serie to present you this wonderful part of Holland, The Veluwe, that offers its visitors a great deal when it comes to nature.

It seems that the high sandy soils in the Veluwe region are impoved by grazing.
And here the grazers include both natural herbivores - such as roe deer, fallow deer, or rabbits - as well as introduced herbivores - horses and Scottish Highland Cattle.

I like the loneliness of the landscape, and the "foggy" light in it.

Hi Viviane, what I like best, is that you really have to look good to see the vague trees, that is certainly the way to show 'fog'. Lovely view, that lonesome longhorn. Nno, it's not called that way, but I the horns are so beautiful.

Bonjour Viviane,
Une jolie Scottish Highland, elles sont belles ces vaches � l'駱aisse fourrure fris馥. Nous en avons aussi en Bretagne dans un parc "m馮alithique" de terre de bruy鑽e et tr鑚 froid l'hiver, ce qui donne une vue identique � ton clich�. Dans ta photo, on ressent bien le temps brumeux et humide que l'on rencontre souvent l'hiver sur la lande.

Int駻essante ambiance dans cette photo, comme quoi l'absence de soleil ne d馗ourage pas la photographe (ni j'esp鑽e la vacanci鑽e!). J'aime beaucoup l'effet de la brume qui donne un aspect tr鑚 hivernal, ainsi que la placidit� de la vache qui continue inlassablement son travail de broutage. On sent bien la rusticit� de cette race ici.

J'ai v駻ifi� le titre car je me suis vu transport� en Ecosse en voyant une vache des Highlands dans un paysage de brume.
Elle ne manquera pas de nourriture,surtout si elle est seule.
J'aime surtout � cause de l'impression ﾉcossaise que vous avez cr馥.

On dirait presqu'une petite cabane perdue dans un champ. Une belle b黎e tout de m麥e. J'aime bien le c� brumeux de la photo.

Hi Viviane,
Nice image! Good idea of depth, with this ridge of 'heide' on the foreground, and the foggy forest in the back.
I find it very difficult to these take nice pictures in this type of weather. I tried several times, but I'm not really satisfied with the result.
