Photographer's Note

This city is a photo wonderland. Like so many in Europe. They say Amsterdam is sometimes referred to as the "Venice of the North" due to its large number of canals like this one. I love the flowers and walkways, the many boats, and the busy and relaxed mix of happy people.

Hello David,
indeed a beautiful city, and when the weather allow - it is a real joy visiting.
Would not compare to Venezia, as nowadays it is a disaster-area, a warning bell-weather to global warming phenomenon.
Anyway, a pleasant picture to look at.
