But....we do not see the "windows"
In many cities in the western of the Netherlands, many new houses were built and new districts are "born".
Also in Nieuw Vennep, the village (not a big one) where I live, is a new district and this is just as big as the village itself. A lot of different architecture can be seen here, modern houses, modern streets and squares.
Here is one of these streets. They have small windows as you can see here (or not...)
In the Netherlands live around 16.000.000 people and the minister informed, that another 400.000 houses will be built in the future.
But, in the future, do we still have some space for "green" then ?

Very well capture of a repetition under a good light Hans. Very good colors and sharpness with DoF. The color of the brick is always joy to me.
The "green" issue is a "bleeding wound" in all around the world especially in my country.
Well done. Thanks for sharing..

Excellent shot, Hans. Very interesting architecture. It's hard to believe that they are houses. It has a futuristic feel to it, especially with the 'space-shaped' street lamps. Good repetition and nice perspective. Well framed.

Symetic like in SimCity ... a landscape close to G.Orwell description of the future .. "and the boring feeling will appear from the uniformity"

Architecture!!!=ontwerpァァァ

wow Hans...
this is just like in the folders and in the digital presentations, only then it is made in 3dmax (i've done that when i was still at school)... the telephone polesand te houses are perfectly ugly and tasteless!!! Wonderful :D...

Housing by numbers! I love the fact that you bring us these different views Hans, it shows a bold approach to the TE ethos.
I love the way you also combine these less than pretty shots with a good aesthetic quality and are able to see a shot in the most unrewarding places.
This one has nice movement through the shot created by the repetition but the way you have contrasted the vertical emphasis of the buildings with the long linear perspective is 1st rate.

I like the double perspective here, Hans. It is strange that they build houses woth small windows in Holland, and I wonder why. I remember the huge windows in the ld small houses of amsterdam, build to catch every bit of light. You should tell this minister that people need light in their houses.
God shot.

This is a stark, moderist landscape. You've captured the practicality of the development and given time and the spirit of those living there it will grow a personality. A great city planning viewpoint. Well done.
