Amstel River, a photo from Noord-Holland, South

Photographer's Note

This is a view of the Amstel river taken from the Magere Brug, the most tipical bridge in Amsterdam, while the cold fog covered everything around 10h. We decided to have a good hot chocolate to heat up a little before continuing, and 1 hour later as we stepped out of the cafeteria we found a bright sun in an incredibly blue sky. Tomorrow I'll update that photo of the Magere Brug with sun light...

By the way, the barges that can be seen in the channels were used and are used to transport goods, but many of them have been converted to floating homes.

I really like this shot! It does look like it comes from a documentary. The fog gives mystery that makes this photo special.

Hola Javier, me gusta el encuadre y el ambiente de magia y misterio que da la niebla.

ｿqu� le pasa a la parte izquierda de la foto? parece que pierde definici tiene mucho granulado o es la niebla.

Posiblemente, la que m疽 me guste de tus fotos. La 伃tima de los molinos me gust� pero esta...brutal. Es grande la atmfera "londinense" de este Amsterdam.

Una muy bonita "depresiva" foto.

hola javier, me gustan estas tus series de fotos vintage. se ven muy bien. la neblina, el blanco y negro, el ruido. todo crea un envejecido muy favorecedor y misterioso. una forma diferente de ver los caneles de holanda. bien hecho. saludos, gabriel

Hola Javier!

Bonita fotografia del rio Amstel de Amsterdam. Me gusta la niebla que crea una atmosfera un poco siniestra (como Jack el destripador en esa Londres de bajos fondos con calles inundadas de niebla). Que sea en blanco y negro tambien creo que ayuda a este ambiente un poco oscuro.
