Nighttime fishing in Harstad, Northern Norway. It was late July and the midnight sun season had ended just a few days ago. It is about the darkest moment of the night at 1:09 AM.

Hello Kari,
The red/pink edge of the clouds are fantastic, but the two men on the pier are also good eye-catchers in this very "exotic" photo. You managed a good exposure at 1:09 AM.
Thanks for your comments today. I had a choice of cropping the edge of the roof or keeping the top branches of the tree, so I decided to save the tree.

Hello Kari, such a vivid pink!
The cloud formation is quite special.
I like the inclusion of the boats, the harbour wall and the two men that give us a context for this shot, and there is just enough light for there to be some reflections on the foreground water too.

Hello Kari, This time photo was taken on the longest days. I remember nights in Lofoten. I also went to take some pictures at 1 a.m. Marvellous composition, fantastic sky.

Hi Kari,
I am so jealouns that you have the blue hour all night long! On the other hand the winter must be quite miserable.
Spectauclar sky here with pink purple light passing though the nice pattern of clouds.

Hi Kari,

The photo has beautiful shades of pink and grey, like burning embers among grey ashes. Some rugged mountains in the background and a few reflections on the water add nice touches to a very atmospheric photo. It must be good to have sunset colours last for a long time, perhaps all night.

Wonderful sky with the vivid red parts between the predominantly dark blue clouds.

I didn't make it past Tromso nor was I there at the right time of year to see the shortest 'night' of the year. Wonderful warm cold colour contrasts of red and blue in this sunset or sunrise? Tfs!

Spectacular this night photo, although there is still a certain light, wonderful sky with that alternation of red and gray clouds, very still the port at this time.
