A summer holiday that seems like it will last forever, a sunny day in the mountains, a fishing rod and a close friend � yeah, I think I remember that setting!

Life seems great, even if the river is shallow and the fish small�

very beautiful image, full of the poetry of life. excellent framing, light and sharpness. despite we have lots of big rivers around my hometown, I fished first time when I had 12 YO and I didn't like that. haha.

Beautiful summer scenery, Pablo.
Noteable shalow water as noted, but shiney under bright daylight - almost "metalic" tone on surface.

The vacation is over all children are again to the school, alone the Univerity students end of the month.

Hei Pablo,

A wonderful scene that make me remember the fishing adventures of my childhood. Even grow up in the southern part of Sweden where there were no steaming water like this. The feeling of fishing from the shore of a lake or a river is almost the same. The composition is excellent with the boys in the uopper right corner and persentation of the water that gives a good idea of the the chances of catching fish. Very nice lighting and clours. TFS and have a nice weekend!

I can easily understand the feeling you want convey with this photo because I've spent my childhood and boyhood practically in the countryside, playing outdoor and enjoying every single moment and every simple thing like a small river and simple games like this... personally I think it's a tragedy of the modern world when children cannot have space in nature where to play like in our modern cities.
A very simple composition which tells a lot to the ones who know how to look... (:-)

Is it normally shallow, or are rivers getting shallower in Norway too ?
