Autumn Cow, a photo from Sor-Trondelag, South

Photographer's Note

When temperature reaches 23C in October it isn稚 usual in my place, but yesterday it happened! For your information it is chilly rain again this morning�

Well, Saturday was a wonderful sunny day that simply demanded of me to take a trip in the countryside, bringing the camera of course. And in autumn even the cows are red hehehe!

I found this creature as she was grazing roadside with several of her relatives enjoying the warm October sun, but I preferred her pose so I excluded the rest�

Hello Pablo,

What a surprise an cow on the hill of the mountain.
Also in Belgium get we temperature of +25ｰ Celsius incredible for October 1 & 2We can truly enjoy of these late summer or early autumn
The cow enjoy also of these lovely autumn day.
Composition and presentation are pleasant.

Indeed, a real autumn cow :) I can imagine how this cow will look like during the Norwegian winter but I don't dare to think at the summer version ...
Yesterday in Belgium we had the warmest 1st of October since 1921. Finally we're enjoying summer weather here. July and August have been terrible.

Hi Pablo,

I do not if you have many other cow photos in your gallery but with so many farm photos it is logical with a photo of one of the inhabitants of those farms. Its a beautiful and well-composed photo And that the meadow slopes is a also logical since this is Norway. You make really fine use of it in your composition. TFS and have a nice evening!

Greetings Pablo,

The red cow grazing in the hillside � a simple but elegant shot. I like the composition and the quality of the photograph very much, as usual. You have had a mild fall so far. We are getting over a 'seasonably cold spell', mostly around 10ｰC, but the weatherman has promised 10ｰ warmer weather for the next few days. Then in November, we usually have Indian Summer for a short spell, before we descend into the cold realities of winter.

Dobro vece.
Dobar trenutak u jutarnjim satima sa kravom koja pase na zelenom polju, lepa fotografija.
Dobar tekst, snimka i lepe boje.
Sve je manje krava na poljima, deca ce uskoro u zooloski vrt i u zatvorene stale, da bi videli ovu domacu zivotinju koja im daje mleko koje tako vole.

yes, it is very interesting to see this cow with a few red tonalities, in agreement with the colors of the trees in autumn.
The framing in a good low-angle shot outlines this nice cow on the blue sky, in an image with an a bit blurry background, thanks to a good management of the field depth.
It is a good composition.

The low light certainly make the cow looks more red than usual. The tilt make it looks kind of funny too, as if the cow will slide down to the left :)

It's difficult to capture a cow in a original way but you succeeded well thanks to a low pov (which makes the animal more impressive) and creating a diagonal both with the cow and the profile of the hill. But actually it's the smart and vivid colour of its skin which make of this cow an interesting and appealing photographic subject. And of course the fine and intense light contributed too.
A simple but outstanding composition.

It has to feed with brakes on that lovely cow wich dorsal slope matches perfectly that of field. Magnificent sun tan too, but did'nt pay attention to overdose that can cause skin cancer!

Very well captured as she is grazing on the slope.
I like the way all the colours have a touch of reddish in them as if it was caused by the reflexion of the cow :-)
