Photographer's Note

Mountain lodge in Kondratowa Valley is located on 1333 metres in picturesque Western Tatra mountains. It's the smallest mountain shelter in Polish Tatras - there are only 20 beds in 3 shared rooms.

It's very easy to hike to this mountain hut - trail head is in Zakopane Kuźnice and it takes only 1 hour to get to Kondratowa Valley hostel.

The biggest advantage of this mountain lodge is its location - it's situated close to famous Red Peaks trail and Giewont mountain.

Facilities in Kondratowa Valley hostel are rather basic. It's fine to spend there one night and move on.

Hello Piotr,

The conditions may be basic in this hostel but that doesn't seem to have deterred people; it looks to be very popular. I suppose that isn't surprising when you consider the beauty of the location and how easy it is to reach the hostel.
You have chosen a fine viewpoint from which to take your photograph, so that it includes the hostel, the alfresco diners and the the pathway, leading towards the mountain slope, covered with conifers.
It is an excellent, sharp exposure.

W Omanie gory przepiekne. Juz za chwile nowa przygoda . Wlasnie ukazala sie informacja z ktorego gatu polece do mojego 90. kraju.

Piotr, this wooden mountain lodge is located in a wild area, it is surrounded by conifer forest. The hikers can spend one night here before to go higher. Fine colors, good image quality, instructive photo note, regards.

I can only guess that this lodge is fully booked ahead, piotr, and only because its location.
Wonderful mountains scenery, still green on trees even as autumn already in full swing.

Hi Piotr,very nice view another time from Tatra,with a perfect capture of this elegant hut where to take a break after the walk,there are a lot of dead trees on the right part,maybe because a terrific windy thunderstorm as happens in Trentino in the last year? te schronista w zakopianskim stylu swietnie dekoruja szlaki w Tatrach!
Swietny przyklad tutaj.
Ludzie na szlaku czy w schronisku wprowadzaja poczucie przygody.
Bardzo dobrze wybrales punkt widzenia robiac kilka krokow do tylu.
Gora w tle wnosi atrakcyjne diagonalne linie.

Hello Piotr,
The lodge may be simple but it looks very nice and it is beautifully situated. I see only one person who decided red was a suitable colour to wear on a hike. Most others thought various tones of grey were better. Those sitting on the benches almost melt into the background. The photo was taken from a good POV and is perfectly clear and sharp.

The sunlight was excellent and lit the forest on the slopes and the house at left really well and attractively. The composition is very good and well-balanced. The people add a nice and relaxed daily life mood.

A mountain hut with a completely wood roof.
It seems a good day with different people that make a stroll in the area.

Hello Piotr,

The lodge looks like it would be a cosy place in winter. The tables nd chairs made of split logs add a rustic charm and look good for soaking up some rare sunshine in these parts. The background wilderness and mountain setting is magnificent. Tfs!
