Photographer's Note
Another photo, which was buried for some time. It was taken on the road to Morskie Oko. I converted it so bw, so the red of the sign is not that distracting. In the WS you can see the colour version.

PS: It was taken in 2019 of course. :)

Hello Gyrgy,
I don't find the red circle in the WS distracting. It rather serves a photo of such discreet tones well to have a bright detail to rest your eyes on if they get lost among the branches and snowflakes. But I also don't disagree with the conversion, because there are enough details to keep me busy among the shadows, tree trunks, branches and wooden railings. The rays of the sun breaking through the trees are the best features of both versions anyway.
Brest regards,
Gert

Hello Gy,
I think both versions of the photo show the magnificent winter landscape with beautiful incident light in an excellent way.
I often prefer colour photos. Here I like them both equally.
The photos are eminent sharp. The diagonal lines of the light rays are greatly responsible for the beauty of the pictures. I also like the shadows of the railing that protects the abyss.
Many years ago I've been in Zakopane ... but in summertime.
Best regards, Paul

Hi Gyorgy,
It looks like there was snow and sunshine at the same time. Excellent capture of the sunbeams coming through the trees. Good composition and light control.

Hi Gyorgy
The B&W has emphasised the rays of sunlight coming through the trees for a great snow photo. An alternative approach would have been to convert everything except the red to B&W and leave the red standing out.
cheers

Hello Gyrgy
The red circle doesn't bother me either. Wonderful lighting with good sharpness and the snowclad road providing excellent linear perspective towards the sunlit bridge. Tfs!

Hello Gyorgy,
Although I don't find the red sign distracting. I do agree with your conversion to B&W. The B&W version somehow seems much crisper and the details of the shafts of sunlight seem to stand out more.
Whichever people choose, I don't think they will be disappointed, for it's a really well composed photograph, full of different lighting details, shadows and very good textural details.
My warm regards,
Bev :-)

An excellent composition and lovely presentation.
Very well done, TFS.

Hi Gyorgy,
amazing ambiance. The diagonal rays of sun contribute a magical atmosphere. Good idea to convert to black and white, it was almost monochrome anyway and by losing the rest of the colors the effect is stronger.
Beautiful spot, the snow is captured even in the air.
Excellent work,
M

Hello Gyorgy,
This is a great winter scene, and it would make a lovely art poster. :-) B/W was definitely the right choice for this one. I the shadows on the snow made by the fence, and the sunlight filtering through the falling snow. Take care!

Hi Gyorgy
Good idea to convert it to black and white and also add some contrast. But with this wonderful light I'm not sure I would have noticed the sign away! :-)
Have a nice week
Kasia
