Photographer's Note
John of Nepomuk (German: Johann von Nepomuk) or John Nepomucene (Czech: Jan Nepomuck) (1340 � March 20, 1396) is a national saint of Bohemia. In his fully developed legend he was the confessor of the Queen of Bohemia and refused to divulge the secrets of the confessional. He has been made into the first martyr of the Seal of the Confessional, a patron against calumnies and, because of the manner of his death, a protector from floods.
This monument is settled in Trzech Krzyzy Square in Warsaw.
