Photographer's Note

At the end of the reportage from the palace von Reichenbach, I look into the sad window maybe someday it will return to its former splendor.

Goszcz is a village in the administrative district of Gmina Twardogora, within Olesnica County, Lower Silesian Voivodeship, in south-western Poland.

Palace von Reichenbach (ruin), the first palace in Goszcz built in 1730 to 1740 on the site twelfth-century castle. However, it was consumed by a huge fire in 1749. In the years 1749-1755, a new palace, designed by architect Silesian Baroque, Karl Martin Frantz. The whole manor and palace were grouped around a rectangular courtyard whose main axis was the building of the palace.
In 1947, the palace destroyed the fire, it has not been rebuilt to this day.

Les ornements de cette architecture d駭ote une richesse manifeste � travers ces chapiteaux corinthiens et ioniques.
Fronton triangulaire, etc.
M麥e en ruine l'馘ifice garde son aspect majestueux.

Krzysztof, i hope that palace will return to its splendor too. The ruins prove that it was a remarkable building, some architectural details still remain here. The ruderal plants have colonized the interior and are growing on the red bricks.

Thanks to your supporting narratives. It's a neat, factual image and it records the appearance of the ruins pretty well. I love the composition, pov and the glimpse of what's behind and one that draws the eye in and invites it to explore. It looks nicer with the colour combo, exposure is ok and fine overall contrast, but minute detail is first class that holds the image together. Excellent shot, Congrats
