What I really like about this shot is the two distinct halves and the strong shadow. I also like the tight crop on the man. I do wish a few details from hisface were visible however. Very good, effective photo overall.

A light lasts for a difficult subject. But where is the glance of this man . Where are the eyes?

interesting portrait, I like the composition. but it is very soft, I think I prefer sharper pictures... but here this softness creates an interesting mood, the picture is very warm, but maybe it is a bit too dark also..
anyway, nice portrait
