Hi Adam,
i find this image endowed with a strong symbolical drive.This POV seems to weigh down the gait of this person plodding toward the cemetery's gates, gates having a vague anthropomorphic look.It seems smirking.Or maybe it's just suggestion.Slightly darker, slightly more contrast, the mood would have been even more suggestive.
