Photographer's Note

This section of the Adam Mickiewicz street is a bridge overhanging the railway lines and leading to the Warszawa Gdańska station down below. Trams, bicycles, pedestrians also buses, motorcycles and cars regularly take this trunk as it is a major road. I was amazed by the emptiness of the place due to the absence of any traffic flow, maybe because it was Sunday morning when I took the picture. I liked the view because of the colours and the graphic elements in it. The red strip is a cycling lane that only runs along the bridge. It isn稚 just a bit of paint, but it is actually a thick layer of very smooth red asphalt.
