Visiting the castle continues ...

｣ancut Castle is a complex of historical buildings located in Lancut, Poland. Historically the residence of the Pilecki, Lubomirski and Potocki families, the complex includes a number of buildings and is surrounded by a park.

The castle is one of Poland's official national Historic Monuments (Pomnik historii), as designated September 1, 2005, and tracked by the National Heritage Board of Poland.

Owners
In the second half of 14th century, the land was the property of the Toporczyk family, who built a wooden castle on the hill. In the 16th century the castle belonged to Stadnicki family. Since the 17th century the property was in the hands of the Lubomirski family, and then the Potocki family until 1944.

This part of the castle looks so charming with the many flowers, both in the foreground and as decoration on the walls. The lighting was very nice here and well handled, also adding some fine shadows to the wall. Good vertical composition.

Witaj Krzysztof,

This immediately shows the same sense of composition that you display in your 'window' photographs. It is really well arranged, starting with the flowers and moving back to the large porcelain feature. I like how the theme of flowers seems to link the whole combination of sharply captured elements.

amazing elements of decoration in this corner. the big piece of the porcelain is impressive. nice details of the walls, the ground and the furniture. at each corner we can see a marvelous detail.

Witaj Krzysztof What a major piece of art set in the corner that reminds me of those tall decorative fireplaces I saw once in Europe! These were stoked from behind the corner by the staff having to proceed in between narrow corridors, thus avoiding to disturb the VIP guests. Thanks for showing. Pozdrawiam
