End of summer, a photo from Pomorskie, West

Photographer's Note

The summer ends. Days are shorter, weather cold and windy. The sea becomes stormy :). And I become more sad... I tried to catch a sunset, but I didn`t manage, Sun didn`t reveal its face ;). But I felt obliged to take a few photographs, so I did it.

As you see, I couldn`t resist of uploading a new image, but this is a special occasion - change of seasons.
Have a nice autumn (just two days), of course it doesn`t concerne friends in southern hemisphere ;).

Fantastic play of light and shadow. I like the match of colours in the sky and in the sea. The "whirlpool" around the stone justifies the central placement.

An 'other worldly' feel here. Superb colours, the sea spray looks like a mist, the water glowing in places. The sky looks awesome too.

What a wonderful effect the slow shutter has had on the water; being waves the effect is like mist. Even if the sun didn't show its face before slipping beneath the horizon, the colours in the clouds and reflections in the water are superb. Good work

Hello Henryk,
I like the copper tones when it comes to describing the feel of Fall or Autumn. The long exposure here works well as the water appears to be fog on top of the focused area of the water.

splendid the combination of these hues of the colours.It's a surface of a sea and at the same time i think that the sea steam up.A first rate panoramic capture of the summer end.Indeed, it is so much better to provide the expansive horizontal view here. The subdued light, with the sun still painting pastoral colors in the clouds makes this a memorable shot.Well done Hentyk.

Hello Henryk,

There must be a moon of Jupiter or Titan, or an entirely different planet where this would be routine view. This is a exquisitely conceived and flawlessly implemented photograph, surrealistic for sure, but a work of art. I too have ambivalence about the changing seasons which you have expressed eloquently in your note.

Wow wow wow! Soooo beautiful! TE is inundated with long exposure/apocalyptic sky photos, but your interpretation has the edge. The colour palette is amazing, the movement of the waves is dream-like and the simplicity is remarkable. Some may say that the rock shouldn't have been placed in the middle, but who cares? It's a first class shot.

Indeed September 21 beginning the autumn, and in Belgium we get very bad weather with a lot rain.
When I see your picture is in Poland also very bad, this is a very lovely composition with the imminent clouds to the sky, very well done.

We experience the change you speak of here on the Great Lakes as well. As the air starts cooling the wind over the lakes starts blowing , we get some doozys.
I really like the colors in this shot and the misty air around the big rock in the foreground and the water ripples...beautiful and very moody photo. TFS

This is magical! The texture of the water and clouds create a dramatic and mysterious mood in the image. The view is excellent and the rock on the fore add a nice focal point. I think I like this image more this way than if you had sun in it. Thanks Henryk :-)

This is a great atmospherical shot filled with motion created by the waves movement. As it's usual on your photos the light plays a very important role and creates great contrasts all over it, specially between the mid photo and the background.
If there was something to point out it would be the fact that I would like to see some details on this rock instead of having it completely dark bu we can't have it all can we?

Belle photo de ces dunes superbes, lorsque je regarde votre gallerie et votre s駻ie proche de celle ci, je ne sait pas laquelle choisir tellement elles sont jolies et pleine de force, elles attirent le regard immancablement tellement les couleurs et les tons diff駻ent sont jolis. Hi Henryk. You might have been sad, but in this scene I see passion, fire, a tug-of-war between light and darkness, the churning of the primordial soup. It's a cosmic shot, a beautiful shot.
