Listen, Pawel, this will be the harshest light green I Have ever given undeservedly to a poteially good photo.
Why is that? Your photo has it all : it has LOTS of potential, fine composition, witty timing and best of all, kind humor.
Why then? just because a photo cannot live without the appropriate processing and that is truer even for BW. You simply screwed up the print, Pawel, that's where I am mad about you. See. Development has nothing to see, you don't do anything at development, you simply preserve your chances of getting a good print (read Adams again). Printing is the utimate effort, it is the stage where good can turn to mediocre.
You chose to display this photo the most neutral way possible, like it was a negative from your negative... like printing skills weren't useful.
Wake up, pawel! Good printers were the most feared persons in the analog days, they could make a cloudless sky rain, photographers used to speak politely to their printers. Printers would print as they wanted to, wake up late, let the telephone ring, sleep all day, party all night. Printers were the kings.
But here... no... nothing. This photo screams for burning in or masking, you even skipped the burning stage of the corners. Your characters are threatened of a sudden disappearance against the rich wall textures or the pane glass reflection, it lacks volume and 3D.
Ok, I'll show you what I have in mind, some 1/2 to 1 grade more contrast plus some burning in to make them jump out of the scene. See my WS.

Very complex image, what I love best is the expression of the listeners - I wonder what kind of tune she was playing to provoque such faces ?
Great composition, very clever !
Best regards,
Cath.

hello Pawel
Amazing film finish to get this high resolution contrast of texture. I doubt if digital can compare with this quality.
The 50mm f/1.4 is sharp and superb for this effect, even with strong light. I really pity the violinist, is she good? The 4 people seem not interested at all from the body language? tfs
