Photographer's Note
This shot was taken in the second day of this 2005 year. This is one more post of my series about sea and people who loves sand, emotions and salt water! It's a photo of my birth town well known beach in Portugal that is near 18 kms of Oporto also well known by by is world football team and also by the "Oporto Wine"...that has many centuries of history and of good luck!
In this situation this daily Surfer leaves the beach inspecting if could return, but the possibility is in the next day. I hope you enjoy this moving and daily life of some young people.

モptimo trabalho Fernando, parab駭s!

You captured very well the surfer who was looking for the wave while walking on the beach. It might be better to not cut his shadow. The feeling of sand seems to be pleasant.
Have a happy 2005 year!

and... you composed the man in center,it's fine, had you any try for another composition or not?in corners,or 1/3 out off center for him?...sure that it has not any problems, just a question.
it's a simple fine shot, details and colors are as a nice point for the shot,it gives me a pleasance feeling of playing in the sea, thanks for sharing,Fernando.

I like this lovely view Fernando, the Surfer and are long shadow, with the small waves on the beach, the stones in it water make a great composition.
Well seen Fernando.

Nice photo and composition. I like the choice of point of view here showing the surfer from behind. To judge by the surfers pose he is anticipating some new waves, the sea is calling for him, but at the same time he is moving away from the water. Well seen and captured Fernando!

A nice scene with the surfer walking on the beach, Fernando. The light is particularly well managed here as it accentuates the surface of sand, and also the diagonal where the water meets the land is nice for the compo. As far as the surfer - I think the composition woul benefit if he were more off center, to the left. He would have some more space to walk into, and we would see his whole shadow. Otherwise, very nice!

Nice balance between the sea and the beach. The surfer is maybe a little too much in the middle of the frame - a little to one side would have been better I think. The colours are extremely pleasant and the photo is very sharp. I guess you used the zoom - and very well.

Good subject, colours and exposure. I like "hojper" think that the surfer would be better place a little to the left, but not to far as you do have hime "looking" out of the picture towards the sea.

The composition is straighforward yet the shadow an dthe stones add dynamism to it. Good picture.

Great shot, and the choice of balance is good. The position of the "daily" surfer valorise the message.
All quality is excellent.
Well done

Grande enquadramento e um extraordinario "Shot". Cores, contraste de um mar calmo e bonito, com um "Sufer" a olhar se ainda pode "surfar". Nuito bom trabalho, n縊 s este segundo como a projec鈬o do mesmo. Parabens!
