Photographer's Note

This one is a first shot of five of my theme "Sea" and water element, that where taken in the first days of this year.

This is one and the others are my local birth place, with the sea, beach, actual and present elements.

The Second is a tribute and offer to a "TE" friendly member - "Seagull talking with Us".

The Third is about "Surfing on the Wave (I)" and nature and sport young activity.

The Forth is also "Surfing on the Wave (II)" and is also a Tribute to a known "TE" member that have a series of 3 Posts about "Surfing on the River".

The Fifth and last is a nice End of this sequential Serie ut not the "Pigeon take Off", and is also a Tribute to a Peaceful Member of "TE", but not now!

Hope you enjoy this contribution to "TE", and
I will do my best now as in the future.

You managed well the minimalism and the blue colors of this scene, Fernando !
And I find funny that the surfers are almost as small as the seagulls.

I like the people are swimming here,like some dots in the waves,well captured,and very well composed,real colors and fine work you did,I like it,simple and a candid shot.

Wonderful photo! I like the people that are surfing; they look like the birds in the foreground. The beach seems so quiet in the winter as compared to the summer. The man made cement breakers also go well in the photo as it combine nature with man. Well done....

Let me know what you think about the Obidos theme.

Hi Fernando,
Again the ocean. I must love it very much. And always that beautiful whether and that calm sea. Doesn稚 it storm there in Portugal. You make us jealous with all that picture if your beach. But you get in interesting collection of quiet minimalism.

very nice shot. it's amazing how tiny those surfers are riding those waves. this picture reminds me of your street shots because the longer I look at this the more interesting things I see, such as the seagulls on the rocks, and do I see people in the distance on those large pile of rocks? nice, natural colors too. great shot!

It's a classic one Fernando,
It is a very differcult shot because those shots are made for a miljon times. I like yours because the details are nice and the composition is well taken, the colours are nice, and I like the balance in the shot, very nice job

Very peaceful view, I didn`t realize first those people there swimming. You were brave to share this so simple way. I was thinking, that those people could be closer, but from this distance there is curtain scale effect in this.

I understand from the note this a situation for a theme. So I this work is starting I do appreciate the situation created here with this landscape. Clean composition with avery nice place and on left a built ptotection (interesting).
Soft colors, a realy true reproduction of the place (yours).

A nice beach with the wavebreaker to divide the sky and water - may be threre's a little tilt and a little too much sky - but never mind I like the sight - thanks Fernando for sharing.

Another sea-scene and this one is very clear too, good shot, but again, cropping a little in the top may be useful. I also like the foreground.

O surf � uma modalidade que parece ter vindo para ficar em Portugal. E este local parece ser bastante bom pois a ondas s縊 muito longas e bem formadas. S� aquele pared縊 n縊 deve ser muito reconfortante para quem anda na 疊ua...

Boa foto tamb駑 aqui, Fernando! Penso que deve saber muito bem aos nossos colegas estrangeiros - cujos pa﨎es est縊 "gelados" e invernosos - ver paisagens deste tipo, t縊 comuns para n e em qualquer altura do ano. Essa � tamb駑 uma das vantagens que o nosso Pa﨎 oferece, bom clima todo o ano! Boa perspectiva e profundidade, boas cores e composi鈬o, bom trabalho!

Gosto bastante das cores e da profundidade de campo mas foste um pouco ambicioso em querer colocar "tudo"! E podias ter obdecido � regra dos ter輟s: por ex.: o c騏 a ocupar apenas 1/3 da composi鈬o, como fez o summer89.
No entanto, bom trabalho.

- Pretty soft light for this nice small quiet beach, sea gulls seem to enjoy to have a swim in this lapping, peaceful and nice, well done!
