Photographer's Note

I decided to classify also this shot as "Decisive Moment" because it's necessary the condition and the decision to Shot!

It's was taken at the beggining of February in my birth town beach, where there are many surfers along the year.

This is also a Tibute to our Friendly "TE" JEMAFLOR, for his work, contribution and his nice shot "Surfing on the River" that you could see here: Link

I hope you enjoy and thanks "TE" Members and also to this great "WEB" for sharing ideas and friendly support.

Ol� Fernando! J� vi que tenho perdido timas fotos suas e penso que esta � uma delas; gosto imenso do "timing" desta foto, conseguindo apanhar o surfista no meio da onda, deixando atr疽 de si um rasto de espuma , o que concede um imenso dinamismo � foto. Belo trabalho, gostei muito!

Cette photo est meilleure que la pr馗馘ente; le cadrage 騁ant plus serr� et l'action du surfeur a 騁� capt馥 au bon moment.
D'autre part, la photo a 騁� prise en contre-jour, cela donne du relief � la composition.
Et en plus j'appr馗ie l'aspect des vagues translucides.

Esta fotografia � melhor que a precedente; o enquadramento mais apertado e a ac鈬o surfeur foi captados ao bom momento. Por outro lado, a fotografia foi tomada contre-jour, aquilo d� durelief � composi鈬o. E a mais aprecio o aspecto das vagas transl昱idas. Obrigado.

This one has a great action, however (again) I would have cropped some in the top, but this is a really nice wave, you've captured, Fernando, a very freshhhhhh shot !

Another beautiful action capture Fernando! For me everything is fantastic; the light, beautiful colors of waves, the details of surfer and the composition. Very, very well seen and done.

Estas ondas s縊 realmente fant疽ticas, ao ver esta e respectivo surfista recordei-me da altura em que existiam "cordas" e "banheiros" em Espinho (as minhas f駻ias numa praia ao lado levavam-me muitas vezes at� aos areais de Espinho, estranha sensa鈬o...).
O sol a iluminar o t佖el da onda � bel﨎simo.

I would agree with you 100% that its a decisive moment! just a wonderul shot you have here. I think this may be my favorite of your sea series pictures. You captured the perfect wave at the perfect moment with the surfer. well done!!

The big wave approaches towards you, and the effect of the surfer going 90 degrees is good.

This one is my favourite so far, the wave action is more dramatic and with only one figure in the scene you can concentrate on the single surfers actions :)

This is better, than your earlier one, Fernando. Person is very well placed here. Anyhow, I would like to see these a bit closer, but who I am ?, I have never tested that kind of sport. Thank you for your impulse in TE. You are doing good work giving your full energy in TE.

Felicitaciones por esta instant疣ea. Has tenido mucha paciencia para obtener esta foto, pero es el 佖ico recurso para conseguir buenos resultados como 駸te.
Te agradezco mucho tus comentarios en TE y en TL. Te dir� que cuelgo m疽 fotos en TL por el simple motivo de que no tengo fotos que encuadren en TE. En invierno hago pocas fotos, pero en verano mi c疥ara no para. Un saludo desde Galicia

Congratulations by this snapshot. You have had much patience to obtain this photo, but it is the only resource to obtain good results like this one. I thank for much your commentaries to you in YOU and TL. I will say to you that I hang more photos in TL by the simple reason that I do not have photos that fit in YOU. I like this one than the previous one. WHY?
I can see the wave much closer ...it's the wave that I interested in. I can stay for ages just just watching the wave. Just I do now in this amazing shot ...wish I was there!

Como n縊 tenho andando por este "site" h� uns tempos estou a ver a sua obra dｫque n縊 vi. Esta foto � possivelmente uma das melhores que tenho visto sobre este tema. Luz, enquadramento, momento e ambiente natural para este tema.

Mais uma visita longa � sua excelente galeria!
Mais uma vez um tributo a um membro do TE com fotografias ligadas ao tema que est� a ser postado - muito bem! A foto do JEMAFLOR � realmente fabulosa! Uma das prendas que recebi ontem, foi o livro do Gon軋lo Cadilhe, "no princ厓io estava o mar", sobre as melhores cricas que ele escreveu para a revista Surf Portugal. Se n縊 conhece, recomendo vivamente - tem muito a haver com o mar a sua paix縊 pelo surf, mas tamb駑 pelas viagens e experi麩cias que teve.

Eu nunca fiz surf, mas j� pensei em me meter nisso...
De qualquer das maneiras, este � o meu contributo para homenagear a sua paix縊 pelo MAR e o excelente trabalho que tem realizado na divulga鈬o de todas as coisas e lugares ligadas a ele.
Este momento decisivo tem um excelente timing, com a captura do surfista a apanhar aquela onda que parece ser fant疽tica. D� para sentir a felicidade descrita pelo Gon軋lo e que aquele surfista deve estar a viver.
