Photographer's Note

As tomorrow will be Wise Men's Day, I'm posting a photo of the Nativity Scene of Evoramonte, a medieval village situated between Evora and Estremoz. The Nativity scene of Evoramonte has around 30 real size sculptures and they are really unique - they have been made by the inhabitants of Evoramonte and most part of the sculptures have their own expressions.

Esta de Evoramente � novidade:)

Amazing bright colors and excelent outlines in image, Ana.
POV a bit from too low on subject, therefore not a complete iew, but idea conveyed.

Oi Anabela,
a foto ficou ima com a muralha de rochas no primeiro plano. Gostei muito da boa luz e do azul do c騏. Natal sempre me d� saudades... agora s� no final do ano!

Desconoc僘 que en Portugal tambi駭 hab僘 la tradicci de Los Reyes Magos, como en Espa.
La imagen de este camello y su rey es singular.

Hi Anabela,

Wonderful shot. I really enjoy it and smiled when I saw it. Your low POV is great and you also make excellent use of the lighting conditions. I really enjoy the effect of that that the stone wall is shaded while the "wise man and the camel is sunlit. the blue sky is a perfect backdrop. TFS and have a nice Sunday evening!

simp疸ica foto. Me gusta la composici con esta escena del pesebre con esculturas creadas por los propios habitantes de este pueblo, el cielo azul como fondo, el muro de piedras en el primer plano, y especialmente el bello juego de luz y sombras.
Es una belleza de foto.

Hello Ana,

This is an interesting piece of art, I admit I had to look twice to realise it's artificial hehehe!
I notice the unusual way you composed this, with inclusion of a good part of the stone wall instead finding a PoV with uninterrupted view...
I think it works well this way, strengthening the feeling the scene is live!

Hi Ana,
I'm a little bit late for the Nativity scene type picture, but what draw my attention to it was the bright color of the fabric and the camel againt the brilliant blue sky, it makes me think of Morocco. Beautiful colors, good details and good composition.

The low POV make these statues very imposing and tall and look like they are just quietly walking behind this wall.
