Old houses in Evoramonte, a photo from Evora, South

Photographer's Note

Evoramonte is a medieval village, situated a few kilometers far from ﾉvora. It's situated at the top of the hill, in a very strategic place, surrounded by 14th century walls. Within these walls, it's also possible to find several streets formed by old houses. These are two typical houses of the Alentejo region,but in this case they are in ruins. The photo has been taken from the wall of the castle, as we can see from the shadow.

Lovely is your choice and the best atmospheric moment. Skill choice of the position too. Also, nice example of the Evora's traditional house and worth note. All is very useful for my study of Portugal, the honor country of Belgrade's fear of books in October this year.

Hi Ana, Indeed this looks a very old house with it's simple looking construction, it has been lit up wonderfully by the bright light shining on it, the face could do with a lick of paint, however this would take away from the quaintness of the house, TFS, kind regards Wilson.

Hola Ana,
Me gusta mucho el grafismo que aporta la sombra de la muralla, da originalidad a la composici. Viejas casas, que aunque parecen abandonadas, a佖 se mantienen en pie. Muy bien visto!

Gosto muito da composi鈬o, onde vemos a exist麩cia da muralha sem aparecer na foto.Boa imagem de contrastes entre o branco das casas e a sombra da muralha. Bom pov e imagina鈬o,parab駭s.

quem sabe ainda este ano eu consiga fazer umas belas fotos destas t厓icas casas do alentejo e suas robustas chamin駸. aqui eu gostei muito da luz e da diagonal refor軋da pela sombra serrilhada da muralha no piso. linda foto, muito boa
