Waiting for the sun, a photo from Evora, South

Photographer's Note

This is one of the photos I've taken in Evoramonte last time I've been there, just before Christmas. Evoramonte is a beautiful old village, situated near Estremoz, in the Alentejo. I go there often and I always find many cats, so this time I've decided to take a different photo - a very common daily scene in the village. It was cold and very cloudy, almost raining, when I found these two who seemed to be still waiting for the last rays of sun. I liked them, mainly because of the place they had chosen, among all these things, and I took the photo.
Guess I need to think about opening a theme for this village.

You sure Cat Woman does not live here :) I find cats quite interesting on their quest for some warm spots .... even underneath the car. Nicely captured ... well done! Happy New Year.

Hi Ana,
Cat photos sometimes have a tragic destiny in TE, but I think this one will survive! It has a nice POV showing rhem in a particular environment... Nice sharp details and textures. The vertical framing gives a cosy, intimate feel!

Great daily life scene. I like the look of these cats. The look very calm and relaxed. The also look very similar. Most likely mother and child. TFS!

There is no sun, but the luminosity is fine and these cats are looking funny! each one in a corner :) Like the colors and sharpness.

Funny setting with this sort of kitchen set outside, for the cats? Perhaps, they are waiting for their food? The ground looks incredibly barren outside the walls! Interesting photo that I am adding to my group theme "Cats everywhere"

Muito original a sua foto, mostrando o frio que est� fazendo a� atualmente, pela posi鈬o dos simp疸icos bichanos.
Temos uma gatinha, mas ela mora do lado de fora e, para enfrentar o rigoroso inverno, meu marido construiu-lhe uma casinha equipada com prote鈬o t駻mica e com calefa鈬o! ﾉ bem quentinho l� dentro, 灣 vezes, ela at� sente calor ;-)

Talvez n縊 seja propriamente 'muito bonita', mas � certam,ente encantadora, tanto pelos bichanos como pela compo (o Z do muro e o 'arranjo visual' do tanque, alguidares e tudo o resto).

uma singela cena do dia a dia, os utens匀ios e a mureta me fizeram recordar as coisas de Portugal, bem diferentes das que temos aqui. Os animais d縊 gra軋 ao todo.
