Still Evoramonte, a photo from Evora, South

Photographer's Note

I'm posting the last photo of Evoramonte for now. This one was taken on the same day and it shows the Sun Gate, one of the main entrances to the village. If we look in front, behind this wall, we'll see Estremoz, a well known town in the Alentejo, situated a few kilometres away.

Ol� Ana, esta imagem tem toda a magia de Evoramonte! Tenho uma maravilhosa lembran軋 deste lugar.
O ceu faz um contrasto muito bom com a luz das muralhas.

Hi Ana,
fine "flat" scene, the 2D impression of the wall is aggresively oposing the perspective of the clouds. Unusuall, but I like it.

A Porta do Sol est� a fazer jus ao seu nome, banhada de sol, apesar das nuvens tenebrosas - belo contraste!
Gostei daquele varal de roupas, quase sinto aquele cheirinho de roupa limpa.

Hi Ana, Bright sunshine combined with dramatic sky, colors and sharpness are fine. I like the compo with the diagonal wall and its door opened on a view, and the clothes drying add the human life element!

Hi Ana,
Looks like the rain was coming in this scene ... the owner of those washing in the clothes line won't be happy. The darker clouds made the structures really standout. Well captured and presented. I like the overall image quality too. Simple scene which most of us can relate and enjoy the perspective. Well done! tfs

Hello Ana,
A dramatic sky is hovering over the ruins, and enhances the feeling of decay!
The combination of dark clouds and sun shine gives a great effect, the composition is simple but well working!

a Porta do Sol est� antes sob as nuvens, mas magn凬icas nuvens e muito bonita cor de c騏. Muito bom enquadramento sobre uma aldeia bem viva se julgo pelo roupa que seca ao vento.

Espectaculares condi鋏es atmosf駻icas para fotografia, Anabela. E no Alentejo ainda d� para aproveitar mais, se bem que esta luz no S畸ado teria sido outra coisa. Aquela nuvem grande e pesada a poisar quase em cima da porta da cidade faz um efeito dram疸ico fant疽tico. Gosto das texturas e adoro o pormenor da roupa estendida. Muito boa.

bonita essa imagem, gostei da textura do muro, mas o melhor da foto na minha opini縊 foram as roupas penduradas no varal. A nuvem carregda ficou bem interessante tamb駑.

I like the sky and I like especially the washing fluttering in the breeze, this adds greatly to the overall image, who would have thought a washing line and washing could do that

ficou imo a muralha sob estas nuvens pesadas.
Achei interessante incluir a roupa secando no varal, apesar de que, no dia-a-dia, poder deixar o motivo ruim para a aprecia鈬o dos turistas. Mas, como disse, para a foto, ficou tudo muito interessante.

how well it is to see the sea through that gate also I find it so important to realize , seeing ancient ruins or buildings is not the essential thing, also by traveling we see lifestyles in different regions .

The dark clouds in the sky create a fantastic environment. Excellent contrast of the sky with the light coloured stone wall. The wind is evident from the clothes on the line. Well composed & good work!

A good vantage point on the Sun Gate with the open view through the doorway. Love the luminosity and the contrast with the overcast sky which adds more atmosphere to the scene.

very much what I like with the sun on the ground and walls and a dramatic sky with clouds of good contrast. Good view through the gate and fine sharpness. Must be the sun gate as the clouds stay outside.

O nome da porta parece muito apropriado olhando para esta foto, com o sol em baixo e aquele c騏 de trovoada em cima. O POV est� muito bem escolhido e a roupa estendida d疼m lindo toque de cor e vida.
