Waiting to be Crowned, a photo from Lisboa, South

Photographer's Note

Continuing my series thru the streets of Alfama, here at one of the outskirts of the neighbourhood I found this man seeming to be a lot bored waiting for someone or something to happen and looking insistingly to his mobile.
The decoration of the San Antonio's night were still there waiting for next year or just the persons wanted to give the neighbourhood a bit of a party look.

Why this title? Look above the man's head :)

Street of Portugal and this view remaind me little on streets in Italy and decoration is smiliar like in Germany.

toujours ce superbe travail sur les couleurs dont ut as le secret. J'aime beaucoup le relief que cela donne et cette impression de se retrouver dans cette rue.

I hope the crown won't drop down ...
A very pretty corner in Alfama. The picture is sharp, well detailed and has nice colours.
If this is an after fiesta party, someone has already cleaned the streets very well :)

Bonjour Paulo,
merci pour tes bons voeux � l'occasion de mes 50 ans.
J'aime beaucoup les couleurs ici, anciennes de la pierre, mais aussi festives avec les guirlandes.
Une rue 騁roite prise sous un bon angle.
Ce monsieur tranquille se pr黎e au jeu du photographe.
Un peu de distortions sur les verticales, mais pas graves.

Bom dia Paulo, se continuares assim activo quando eu chegar da Patagia tenho v疵ias p疊inas de miniaturas para ver na tua galeria :) O t咜ulo est� com piada e confesso que s� depois de ver a nota � que vi a coroa l� em cima. A careca do tipo � t縊 brilhante que � dif兤il ver mais qualquer coisa nesta foto ;-) Deve estar a mandar mensagens a perguntar porque � que a coroa ainda n縊 lhe caiu na cabe軋... ﾉ curioso a presen軋 das decora鋏es - conhe輟 uma amiga que mora � porta do el馗trico 28 e tamb駑 est縊 l� sempre penduradas estas listras coloridas. Boa foto de alfama - sem o tipo isto n縊 tinha metade do interesse que tem.

j'aime bien la position de cet homme qui semble tres pr駮ccup� et aussi le pittoresque de la rue d馗or馥 comme pour un jour de f黎e.

Excellent title an alternative one, could be "Waiting to be crowded", as I know that Alfama is one of the most visited neighborhoods of Lisboa! Great daily life scene, great architecture photo, excellent framing and composition, lovely light managment and colours! Congratulations!

interesante escena de Alfama, captando su ambiente y la perspectiva de sus calles estrechas. Me gusta el color y la luz de tu foto, y especialmente la presencia de este hombre sentado en la puerta, mirando su tel馭ono celular y que parece esperar ser coronado, como dice tu simp疸ico t咜ulo.
