In questo tragico momento voglio ricordare una bella vacanza che ho trascorso nell'isola, nella speranza che presto possa ritornare la serenit�

Pico Ruivo
A 1862 metri, Pico Ruivo � la cima pi� alta dell'Isola di Madeira e la terza pi� alta del Portogallo, con temperature molto pi� basse rispetto a quelle che si possono trovare al livello del mare. Essa si trova al centro dell'Isola con panorami e percorsi escursionistici mozzafiato.
L'unico accesso a Pico Ruivo � attraverso Achada do Teixeira in Santana e Pico do Arieiro. Vi sono tre percorsi che collegano tre differenti punti dell'isola come Pico do Arieiro, il villaggio di Ilha ed Encumeada, tutti punti pittoreschi e la vastit� della natura. Un posto indimenticabile; se arrivate presto prima che si formino le nuvole la posizione � perfetta per catturare l'alba e i tramonti, un passo pi� vicini al paradiso.

Pico Ruivo
At 1862 metres, Pico Ruivo is the tallest peak of Madeira Island and the third-tallest in Portugal and with temperatures a lot lower that those at sea level. It痴 located in the centre of the Island with stunning views and walks.
The only access to Pico Ruivo is through Achada do Teixeira in Santana and Pico do Arieiro. There are three pathways connecting to different points on the Island such as Pico do Arieiro, Ilha Village and Encumeada all picturesque expanses and the vastness of nature. An unforgettable place; if you arrive early before the clouds appear this is a perfect location to capture the sunrise and sunsets the closest place to heaven.

In questi giorni siamo tutti colpiti dalle immagini che ci arrivano dalla tv Andrea , una vera catastrofe ,

Yes, difficult to forget about the news. But you picture show a very nice misty view, with the fog masking the top of the mountain. And the road makes a good perpective, leading to this foggy unknown...

Condivido il tuo pensiero Andrea.

Giustamente adatta la foto, con la foschia che copre il paesaggio, metaforicamente speriamo che vada via e ritorno il sole/vita.

Rieccomi Andrea,un'altra bella foto,POV eccellente con la vetta che si intravede e la scalinata che invece ad un tratto sparisce,come a significare che non sia cosi facile arrivare in cima.Bella immagine,speriamo che questo momento diventi solo un ricordo e presto torni la normalit� e la luce.Complimenti!

Hi Andrea.
Wow, never heard about this mountain before, but it sounds quite interesting. The location is not bad either as many Norwegians travel to Madeira. However, it's a nice shot and the the path makes an excellent motive as it leads into the fog. Thanks for showing this place.

That's a very beautiful and interesting photograph!
The low clouds over the peak are quite impressive and, thus, this picture became even nicer!
Sharpness, exposure, colors, pov, dof, vertical format and composition are all excellent!
A superb hommage to the people in the Madeira Islands after those tragical floods!
Our World's such a dangerous place... but how we all love it!

Hi Andrea,
the photo shows an almost fantastic view, as if of a different - uninhabited - mysterious planet, even despite the view of that long road and staircase leading to the mountain. Excellent choice of vertical format and POV.

che bella questa foto, una bellissima linea guida, una luce perfetta, dei colori naturali e quel nuvolone a dare atmosfera!
Anch'io sono rimasta piuttosto colpita dall'alluvione a Madeira anche perch� da mesi spulciavo i siti che parlano dell'arcipelago perch� vorremmo andare proprio l� per il nostro viaggio di nozze a Luglio... ero cos� felice di vedere posti cos� affascinanti e particolari...
Spero che il tutto si risolva in fretta, per loro pi� che per noi, e che torni presto il sole, in tutti i sensi...
