My surfiii..iing 100th Post at TE, a photo from Aveiro, North

Photographer's Note

This post is a Pause of my new Serie dedicated to Azores archipel and nine Islands. This is a momment to make a new focus in my life, to show different ways of photo and expecting your critiques, but also my traditional centenary TE BIRTHDAY to share with you.

Note: after posting and receiving the second and third critiques I will provide to all of You now, a WS with a vertical frame after receiving some contradition critiques that are not so important, and the real is that what I said in my sequence paragraph, that this picture is a particular celebration post to me and also a shot to a Sun's angle of view that I explain later in my introduction lines. Surf photos real or surf in the web all are reality!

Sequence and first introduction words: This picture is dedicated to all members at TE, from the initial approach and also to the more experienced Members. We all must Surf in life, sharing and communicate knowledge. So, a representative and also a simbolic image, possible not possible the quality that you know as usual by me in my present work:

This shot was taken at the Espinho Portuguese International Surf Beach, where all the year we can make this sportiv activity in good conditions.

And TODAY that i'm posting is a great first Summer day in my town.

This picture and capture was in a Good time and with the great rays of the Sun just near my frontal approach.

the composition is ok but i'd try to improve 2 things:
- place the surfer on the left so he has enough space to surf into
- it is tough with the sun but the overexposure is a harsh here

Beautiful picture except for the light clipping on the waves. I cannot do this surfing, the only surfing I know is the internet!

Hi Fernando. I can think of no more appropriate 100th post than this style of shot. Once again you choice the perfect moment to take the shot. I think the pose the surfer is in is one of the best parts of the shot. When you said you were going to post your 100th shot I decided I better get my 100th shot ready too. But I'm only on shot 78! :) Congrats on your 100th shot, it's great and thanks for sharing 1-99 with us as well!

O cent駸imo � um acontecimento numa vida de TE member, e quando h� para mim fui ele n縊 h� assim muito tempo, e o tempo passa rapidamente sobre TE.
Bravo para as teus comunica鋏es e as teus Fotografias, � em sentes deste s咜io, dando de ti e o teu tempo de modo que fotografias, lugares e ideias sejam trocados num esp叝ito amig疱el.
Est疽 na verdade oferecendo uma complete comunica鈬o... Certamente como todos, quererias fazer melhores fotografias? Mas a melhor fotografia � � que diz algo sobre uns lugares e sobre a pessoa que toma-o.
N縊 h� bom fotrafo sem um rico personalidade que se exprime.
Ent縊, vai para o surf para os dois cem!

La centi鑪e c'est un 騅鈩ement dans une vie de partageur, et quand j'y pense pour moi ce fut il n'y a pas si longtemps, et le temps passe vite sur TE.
Bravo pour tes communications et tes Photographies, tu est dans le sens de ce site, donnant de toi-m麥e et de ton temps pour que des photos, des lieux et des id馥s soient 馗hang馥s dans un esprit amical.
Tu es dans le vrai en offrant une complete communication... Bien sur comme tout le monde, tu voudrais faire de meilleures photographies ? Mais la meilleure photographie est celle qui dit quelque chose sur un lieux et sur la personne qui la prend. Il n'y a pas de bon photographe sans une riche personalit� qui s'exprime.
Alors, va pour le surf vers les deux cents !
La photo est bonne.

Hi Fernando, Congrats to your 100 posts at TE. I have been enjoying each one of your post. You have inspired me in my photographing. Hope you'll keep it up.
This is another excellent capture of the action. Being there to take surfing pictures, I appreciate your surfing pictures. The white wave and the person in maneuver of cutting the wave make the scene very dynamics and vivid. A very nice action shot. Well done.

Referiste na tua nota que a qualidade da fotografia podia nao ser tao boa como a que estamos habituados! porque?

Na minha opiniao, uma fotografia � muito mais que a imagem que vemos no ecra, a fotografia e suportada por uma historia, por um sentimento... como tal, esta fotografia � excelente (como excelente � a sua qualidade tecnica)

Sei que e bem dificil tirar fotos ao mar e esta esta linda e com um surfer que ficou muito bom como se diz aqui 'cuttin the wave' O ano passado tambem tirei umas de uns surfers e de mais de 100 so 2 aproveitei para por no TE.
Parabens na numero 100. A minha titulada Playing in Gold foi a 100 para mim.

Parabens, mas uma pergunta resta: onde estao as lagoas...?

Fernando, parab駭s pelo seu cent駸imo contributo para este magn凬ico "site".
Gostei bastante da nota introdutia, bem como da foto, muito din穃ica e com belas cores e contraste, assim como do bom momento de captura (a palavra que me veio � cabe軋 foi "timing", mas quis evit�-la...).
Gostei tamb駑 (talvez mesmo mais) do Workshop), mas considero o original um belo trabalho!

Congratulations Fernando on your 100th shot. Its dynamic, colourful, and well characterizes you and the drama of life. I think the placement of the surfer is just fine, and while there may be some overexposure, that's just what white surf in the sunshine looks like! May you continue to surf through life. Regards.

Lovely capture, Fernando. It makes me wish I lived closer to the coast (we're a 3 hour drive away). I wish the surfer was just a touch lighter but the waves are perfectly captured.

Penso que agora � tarde de mais para lhe dar os parab駭s pela 100ｪ...
A captura deste surfista est� excelente, num momento decisivo perfeito. Tenho andado com vontade de fotografar alguns surfistas em Carcavelos, mas enquanto n縊 me decidir sobre que m痃uina comprar, n縊 tenho equipamento prrio para os apanhar.
Estas imagens, cheias de dinamismo e luminosidade s縊 sempre atraentes para mim.
